MONTANDON – One man is in critical condition, another is in serious condition, after a crash near Montandon Sunday. Two people were ejected from the vehicle Sunday afternoon along Housels Run Road. 49-year-old Todd Rearick of Montandon and 35-year-old Aaron Vatter of Milton were flown to Geisinger Medical Center by Life Flight helicopter. Rearick is in serious condition and Vatter is critical.
The two men were found outside the vehicle when emergency personnel arrived on the scene. The accident took place just after 4 p.m. on Housels Run Road in West Chillisquaque Township near Heimbach Lane. State police say Rearick lost control of his vehicle, which rolled over and they were both ejected. They were not wearing seatbelt. (Ali Stevens)
