SUNBURY – State police are investigating two thefts of firearms in Rockefeller Township Northumberland County. Thieves broke a window at a house on Pine Hill Road some time between September 27 and 29 and removed rifles and a shotgun.
The second theft occurred during the day on September 29. The side door of a house on Foye Road was pried open. Thieves made off with a number of rifles and shotguns. Anyone with information on either of the burglaries is asked to call state police in Stonington. (Jennifer Wakeman)
