NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY – Some DUI arrests were made after another sobriety checkpoint in the Valley. Milton state police conducted their checkpoint near the intersection of Route 45 and Route 405 in West Chillisquaque Township, Northumberland County the night of May 25. Troopers say out of the 204 vehicles stopped, two drivers were arrested for a DUI.
They also tell us four drivers had been drinking prior to driving, two people were cited of summary violations, and nine others received warnings. Troopers remind motorists not to drink and drive, buckle up, and slow down.
