Two critically injured in ATV accident

life flightTREVORTON – Two Shamokin residents were critically injured in an ATV accident in Zerbe Township on Wednesday afternoon.  25-year-old Brandi Hughes and 42-year-old Kenneth Grodski Jr. were taken to Geisinger Medical Center following the accident and are both listed in critical condition.

 

Police say the accident took place on Shingara Road on an ATV trail around 1 p.m.  Grodski was driving the ATV with Hughes as a passenger.  He lost control of the vehicle after hitting a pool of mud and the vehicle flipped several times.   State police at Stonington are investigating.  (Ali Stevens)
