KLINGERSTOWN – A fire hit a Valley business Thursday night. Schuylkill County Communications tells WKOK a two-alarm fire was reported at Michael Foods Egg Company just after 8:30 p.m. Thursday. County communications says the business was in full operation at the time of the blaze.
Unconfirmed reports on the Schuylkill County Fire Wire say the fire started in an oven on the third floor. An exact cause has not yet been determined. Everyone inside got out safely and no injuries were reported. It’s unknown how many people were inside at the time of the fire.
It’s unclear if the business remains in operation this morning. Klingerstown, Pitman, and fire companies from Northumberland and Dauphin Counties responded.
