SUNBURY — The annual New Year’s Eve truck raffle is underway to benefit Sunbury Celebration. Dan Saxton organizes the raffle, “We sell a maximum of 600 tickets for our raffle, for this beautiful new Ford pickup truck that we are going to be chancing off on New Year’s Eve at the celebration activities at Fourth and Market Streets in Sunbury.”
The truck is donated by Sunbury Motor Company, “It is a brand new 2016 Ford F150 XLT Super Crew Cab. It’s got the nice chrome appearance package. It is a four wheel drive pickup truck. It is a beautiful blue flame metallic with a grey interior. It is on display up at Sunbury Motor Company on North Fourth Street in Sunbury.”
Proceeds from the raffle will benefit Sunbury Celebration events that take place each July, “It was formed to gather families together and provide low cost affordable free activities and events for kids and their families to enjoy. Basically, Sunbury Celebration is a four day event.”
