WATSONTOWN – A Nebraska man is facing charges after a series of incidents of damaging property in Watsontown. Watsontown police say 42-year-old Seliman Abdulqader was driving a tractor-trailer on Eighth Street and struck two parked cars in the area of the Ash Street intersection. Prior to striking the cars, Abdulqader damaged the tractor-trailer at a loading dock, causing damage to the unit.
Officers then say after Abdulqader left the scene of the initial investigation, he ran over a mailbox after turning on Route 405 and never stopped to report it. He has been charged with two counts of driving on roadways laned for traffic, one count of careless driving and one hit and run count.
