MIDDLEBURG – State Police say one child almost shot another one in a November 5 incident in Snyder County. Selinsgrove troopers say a three-year-old girl found a loaded handgun and shot the gun near a four-year-olds face. The four year old suffered an eye injury from the blast. It was a small semi-automatic handgun, unknown caliber.
Troopers are just now out with details on the shooting incident two and a half weeks ago in near Middleburg. It happened on November 5th just after noon on Renninger School Road. Troopers say they arrested 27-year-old Ashley Hodowanes of Middleburg as a result of the incident. The investigation is continuing.
