WATSONTOWN – Watsontown police responded to a report of a woman trying to break into a residence on First St, Watsontown Tuesday night and ended up arresting a woman. Police say that 20-year-old Lauren Brosious of Trevorton was trying to break into the residence of her estranged boyfriend.
According to police reports, Brosious resisted arrest, and took a swing at an officer when they tried taking her into custody. She is being charged with felony count of attempted criminal trespass, and misdemeanor counts of resisting arrest, defiant trespass, and disorderly conduct. A preliminary hearing is set for October 18. (Christopher Elio)
