SHAMOKIN – Two Sunbury men were arrested for carrying firearms without a license. State police say 25-year-old Joseph William Race and 33-year-old John Wayne Oyster were arrested Monday following a traffic stop on North Pearl Street in Shamokin.
Police found firearms, controlled substances, and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. The men were arraigned before district judge John Gembic and sent to Snyder County prison on $75,000 bail.
