Three contested races in Union County

Union CountyLEWISBURG – The Pennsylvania Spring Primary is Tuesday, and there are three contested races in Union County.

 

There are three candidates for Magisterial District Judge, all of whom have cross-filed as Republican and Democrat.  Incumbent Leo Armbruster will face off against retired police officer Malcolm Herman and Lewisburg attorney Jeff Rowe.

 

For county auditor, there are three Republican candidates and one Democrat vying for two spots.  The candidates are Democrat Robert Sundin and Republicans Gayle Foresman Pletcher, Carol Manbeck and Donna Kahley Gemberling.

 

And for register and recorder, there are three Republicans running for the job.  They are Melissa Shipton, Lisa Seward and Timothy Brouse.  (Ali Stevens)
