COAL TOWNSHIP – Crews remain on the scene of a fire that ripped through row homes in Coal Township. The blaze broke out just before 11:00a.m. at homes from 1230 to 1240 West Walnut Street.
It was a three-alarm fire, and multiple crews from Northumberland County and surrounding counties responded to the scene. Some local roads remain closed and caution is advised in the area.
The American Red Cross tells us they are assisting four adults and three children who were displaced by that fire. (Ali Stevens)
