More than 7,500 customers remain without power this morning in the Central Susquehanna Valley after gusty storms tore through the area last evening. Columbia County was the hardest hit county in our area, with 6,000 customers without power this morning. Snyder, Union, Montour and Northumberland County each have several hundred customers that remain without power this morning. PPL reports they are working diligently to restore power as quickly as possible.
