SHAMOKIN — Eleven Shamokin area residents were charged during a drug raid Friday morning. The charges relate to incidents dating to July and involve lower-level drug dealers.
Drugs recovered in the raid include heroin, cocaine, marijuana, and prescription medications. Three of the suspects charged were already in prison. Seven others were taken into custody at their homes or turned themselves in to police. The investigation is ongoing and more arrests are anticipated.
The drug raid was coordinated by agents from the State Attorney General’s Office, Northumberland County District Attorney’s Office and members of the Northumberland Montour Drug Task Force along with Shamokin, Coal Township, Ralpho Township, Mount Carmel Police. –David Seger, 54, currently incarcerated in the SCI Coal Township, Northumberland County, is charged with: two counts of possession with intent to deliver heroin and two counts of delivery of heroin.
–Albert Small, 65, 170 East Dewart St., Shamokin, Northumberland County, is charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver Percocet, two counts of delivery of Percocet and one count of criminal use of a communication facility.
–Holly Madden, 24, 417 Main St., Ranshaw, Northumberland County, is charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver heroin, two counts of delivery of heroin and one count criminal conspiracy.
–Christopher Mitchell, 44, currently incarcerated in SCI-Coal Township, is charged with six counts of possession with intent to deliver heroin, six counts of delivery of heroin and two counts of criminal use of a communication facility.
–Rex Hepner, 67, currently incarcerated in SCI-Coal Township, is charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver heroin and two counts of delivery of heroin.
–Shannon L. Armes, 37, 707 N. Cherry St., Shamokin, Northumberland County, is charged with four counts of possession with intent to deliver heroin, four counts of delivery of heroin and one count of criminal use of a communication facility.
–Sharon Carson, 50, 316 N. Shamokin St., Shamokin, Northumberland County, is charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver heroin, two counts of delivery of heroin and one count of criminal use of a communication facility.
–James Madison, 54, 14 S. Franklin St., Shamokin, Northumberland County, is charged with four counts of possession with intent to deliver heroin, four counts of delivery of heroin, one count of criminal attempt for possession with intent to deliver heroin and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
–Brian Seebold, 52, 813 N. Washington St., Shamokin, Northumberland County, is charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver heroin, two counts of delivery of heroin and one count of criminal conspiracy.
–John Firestine, 51, 925 E. Clay St. Shamokin, Northumberland County, is charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver hashish, two counts of delivery of hashish, two counts of possession with intent to deliver Adderall, two counts of delivery of Adderall and one count of criminal use of a communication facility.
–Frederick Russo, 48, 933 W. Spruce St., Coal Township, Northumberland County, is charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver heroin and two counts of delivery of heroin.
