Teen Charged for Pointing Loaded Gun at a Shamokin Man

SHAMOKIN – The News Item reports a 17-year-old Shamokin teen has been charged as an adult after police say he pointed a loaded gun at a Shamokin man.  Josiah Boscolovich was arraigned on felonies of possessing a firearm with an altered manufacturer’s number, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possessing a firearm without a license.  He is also accused of evading and resisting arrest.  Police say Boscolovich aimed a loaded .25-caliber pistol at the man on Thursday in the area of Sixth and Spruce Streets.  He’s jailed on $75,000 cash bail.
