SUNBURY – Susquehanna Valley United Way has named Mark Stankiewicz as its next President and CEO. The announcement follows a unanimous vote by the Board of Directors last week.
They say Stankiewicz brings extensive experience in nonprofit leadership, fundraising, and community engagement, having previously served as Vice President of Operations, Marketing, and Communications at the Williamsport/Lycoming Chamber of Commerce.
He has also held leadership roles with the American Cancer Society and ThinkBIG Pediatric Cancer Fund. Stankiewicz, who begins his tenure on March 31, says he is honored to step into the role and is eager to continue SVUW’s mission of serving those in need. He’s taking over from Adrienne Mael.
