Susquehanna Valley Conservatives to host debate

LEWISBURG – The Susquehanna Valley Conservatives will host the two candidates for the 85th Legislative District Monday evening. Democrat candidate Jennifer-Rager Kay will debate incumbent Republican Fred Keller (R-85th, Kreamer) in their only formal debate before the election.

Equal time will be given to both candidates on all questions posed to them from a moderator, the panel and screened questions from the audience. The candidates are expected to differ widely on how the people of Union and Snyder counties will be represented in Harrisburg.

The debate will be held at the Susquehanna Valley Conservatives meeting at the Best Western Meeting Rooms next door to Country Cupboard Restaurant on Rt. 15 in Lewisburg at 7:00 p.m. The conservative group says everyone is welcome to attend the free and open forum.
