SELINSGROVE — Susquehanna University says it has received a $1 million renewal grant from the U.S. Department of Education. They say the money is intended to support first-generation, low-income, and learning-accommodated students through 2030.
The five-year Student Support Services grant, part of a federal program, will fund tutoring, mentoring, a summer bridge program, financial literacy education, and graduate school counseling for up to 160 students.
University Provost Dave Ramsaran says the funding will help make Susquehanna’s education more accessible while strengthening student success and preparation for careers or graduate study.
