SUNBURY – Bringing integrity and honesty back to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court is the focus of a candidate who visited The Valley. Former common pleas, and currently Superior Court Judge Judith Olson received the highest recommendation from the state bar association due to her experience and her ethics.
She said, “I was honored that I got that recommendation, not only because of my experience as a lawyer and a judge, but more importantly, they found, after a very thorough review, that I had a reputation of being fair, honest, ethical and that I always acted with integrity.”
Olson says there are rules that the Supreme Court could improve, “I also think that there are some areas of improvement that the Supreme Court should consider like tightening rules on gifts and tightening rules on nepotism.”
Olson, from Allegheny County, has 25 years of experience as a trial lawyer and is currently a Superior Court judge. (Jennifer Wakeman)
