WINFIELD – A super load is scheduled to move tonight and tomorrow night in Union and Snyder Counties. The move will begin at Moran Freight Industries in White Deer Township and will move to the power plant at Hummels Station in Shamokin Dam. The travel route is Old Route 15 in White Deer Township to Route 15 in Kelly and East Buffalo Township to Routes 11 and 15 in Shamokin Dam.
The first half of the trip is tonight starting at 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. from White Deer Township to Furnace Road in East Buffalo Township. The second half of the trip will be tomorrow night between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. Friday. There will be road closures at various locations throughout the move and detours will be in place, but delays are expected. (Ali Stevens)
