MONTOURSVILLE — Another super load is scheduled to move through Union and Snyder counties. The 900,000 pound module will travel from White Deer Township, Union County to the Hummel Station power plant in Shamokin Dam beginning Sunday, September 25.
The super load will travel down Route 15 from Moran Freight Industries to Furnace Road in East Buffalo Township between 10 p.m Sunday night and 6 a.m Monday morning. It will layover at Furnace Road during the day on Monday.
The second half of the move will occur between Monday night at 10 p.m and Tuesday at 6 a.m. Route 15 will be closed and traffic will be detoured while the load is moving Saturday night across two bridges in Monroe Township. There will be other road closures at various locations throughout the move.
