MONTOURSVILLE—A super load will be moving through Union and Snyder Counties tonight. The move will begin at 15 Agway lane in Winfield, Union County with the destination being the power plant at Hummels Station in Monroe Township, Snyder County.
PennDOT says the trip is scheduled to occur between 10pm and 6am. The super load will travel Route 15 south from Winfield to Routes 11 and 15 in Shamokin Dam to a private road in Monroe Township, finally crossing North Old Trail Road into Hummels Station.
During the move the load will travel the opposite direction onto the off- ramp of Route 61 westbound to Route 11 and 15 northbound. The load will continue south in the northbound lanes of Routes 11 and 15 until it clears the barrier separating the north and south lanes at 8th avenue. It will proceed south in the southbound lane until turning left onto a private road.
