SUNBURY – Three people are homeless after a fast-moving fire heavily damaged a home in Sunbury Thursday. No injuries were reported at the fire that broke out around 4 pm. The Red Cross is helping the family.
Volunteers from Sunbury and other regional departments were sent to the fire on Seventh Street near Chestnut Street. A state police fire marshal will help Sunbury fire officials investigate. Reports from the scene say that flames were visible in the rear of the home when firefighters arrived.
