Sunbury Police Launch Investigation at Sunbury Ice Rink

The Daily Item reports the Sunbury Police Department will launch a full investigation into alleged theft at the Sunbury Ice Rink.  The newspaper reports Mayor Josh Brosious ordered Police Chief Travis Bremigen to begin the investigation on Monday night.  It was reported that 17 bags of money were found by the city clerk, who said the money and receipts didn’t match.  The bags of cash were found in various drawers at the ice rink.  The Daily Item reports Sunbury Police recently made two arrests of two Sunbury men, one of which worked at the ice rink, for allegedly stealing paper products. There was money missing, but so far no one has been charged.
