SUNBURY — A natural gas leak in Sunbury has over 2,000 PPL customers in the dark and several streets blocked. The incident began about 7:20pm in the 900 block of Court Street near Tenth Street.
Details on the leak aren’t available, but Northumberland County Communications tells us, they are sending fire police to direct traffic where traffic signals and street lights are out.
One person is trapped in an elevator at a Sunbury’s River Front apartment building because of the outage.
