SUNBURY – A Sunbury area man is in critical condition after his car hitting a tree Thursday afternoon in Union County. The crash occurred about 4:30p.m. The Daily Item reports 29-year-old Matthew Mills was driving along Stein Lane near Lewisburg at a high rate of speed, according to Buffalo Valley Regional Police.
The car went off the road near Jean Boulevard and hit a tree. Geisinger’s Lift Flight helicopter took Mills to the hospital; he’s said to be in critical condition Friday morning. (Matt Catrillo)
