SUNBURY – NorthcentralPA.com is reporting… A Sunbury man was charged after he allegedly deployed a taser on a woman’s boyfriend and threatened him with a switchblade, according to police.
They say, 35-year-old Jason Schenherr came to the woman’s Sunbury home May 6 and cornered the male accuser in a room before assaulting him, even shocking the victim with a taser. Schenherr also pulled a switchblade on the victim and asked him if he wanted to die,
Schenherr left the home and was arrested when he returned a short time later. Police charged him with felony aggravated assault, misdemeanor terroristic threats, possession of an instrument of crime, simple assault, and the offensive weapons charge. District Judge Rachel Wiest-Benner set bail at $5,000 at 10% monetary. Schenherr’s preliminary hearing is set for May 14.
