Sunbury Councilman Rick Reichner has resigned. The Daily Item reports he announced his resignation at Monday night’s city council meeting. He was first elected to office in 2013 and then won reelection in 2017 and 2021. Reichner said family matters will keep him from devoting the time and effort needed for the position.
