SUNBURY – More blighted properties up for auction in Sunbury. The Sunbury Redevelopment Authority is holding a public auction this Saturday November 14th to continue their efforts to clean up the city of run down properties. Purchasers must make a 10 percent down payment of their properties and provide plans for the property on the day of the auction.
Mayor David Persing says they’re project has been doing well, “We’ve been pretty successful with people buying and refurbishing and that’s what we hope to continue. There are a couple of nice ones on here for this Saturday. Anybody who wants to invest in the city, we have open arms and come down and see us at those three properties.”
The auction will begin at 9 am and include the following properties beginning at 144 South Street, 1062 Miller Street and 116 South Fourth. (Lauren Koch)
