SUNBURY- Newly appointed Sunbury City Administrator Jody Ocker is excited about her new position.
“I’m still excited to be here. I have enjoyed getting to meet all the employees. I’ve enjoyed getting to spend some one-on-one time with each of the council members so that I can just learn, and I enjoy that. And I’m looking for other training opportunities with professional organizations, Pennsylvania Municipal League, etc., so that I can get that background and context so that I can be effective at my job.”
Ocker says she has met with each of the of the council members about their particular departments, and their respective successes and challenges. Ocker next plans to meet with department employees to get their perspective on what is working well, and what they see as priorities going forward.
