SUNBURY – In an on-going effort to combat blight, the City of Sunbury is holding another real estate auction. The Sunbury Redevelopment Authority will auction a double lot at 714-716 North Seventh Street on October 22.
The auction will begin at 9 a.m. and the purchaser will be required to make a 10 percent down payment on the day of the auction. A redevelopment plan for the property must be filed within 30 days of the auction.
City solicitor Brianna Apfelbaum Kula said the authority believes the property is a prime location for redevelopment. More details can be found at the city clerk’s office. (Jennifer Wakeman)
