SUNBURY – Controversy has surrounded President Donald Trump regarding his desire to pull the United States out of the Iran Nuclear Deal. He’s constantly described it as a “bad deal.” A Valley professor weighed in on this topic during WKOK Sunrise. Dr. Amir Radnejad is an Assistant Professor of Management at Sigmund Weis School of Business at Susquehanna University.
Dr. Radnejad fears President Trump is looking at this deal with his “America First” mindset, not from a financial perspective, “What I believe unfortunately…we are going in the direction of ideology and conflict based on the ideology, rather than the speak of business and dollar values.”
He says if the U.S. were to pull out of the deal, the country would lose trust from key nations, “Imagine today if the USA pulled out of this deal…richest country in the world. How would North Korea accept to do any negotiations with Americans? Russian, Chinese…no one would trust anymore because this is scenario that all people aren’t happy except one, so everything would be blamed on the USA.”
