NORTHUMBERLAND – Students in Northumberland County are going back to school with plenty of school supplies thanks to a local credit union. The Northumberland County Schools Federal Credit Union hosted another successful Stuff the Bus campaign.
Member relations specialist Gail Hollenbach says they collected 4,400 items and received $600 in cash donations. The supplies and money will be divided between Milton, Warrior Run, and Shikellamy school districts.
Hollenbach tells us the credit union hopes to expand their efforts next year to reach more school districts in their service area. (Jennifer Wakeman)
