SUNBURY — Sunbury Police continue to look for the person involved in a strong-armed robbery Wednesday. It happened in the 100 block of Market Street around 10:40a.m. Sunbury Police Chief Brad Hare tells us a man took a bank bag from a woman on the street and then took off running on North River Avenue. The man was then seen getting into a light blue or green colored sedan.
The suspect is described as a black male, 6’1″ tall, wearing a black ski hat, dark pants and a dark coat. He was said to be 20 to 30 years of age. No weapon was displayed. The woman was treated at the scene by emergency personnel.

Sunbury Police did take a man into custody around the same time, however, Bremigen says he was not involved in the strong-armed robbery. (Ali Stevens)
