DANVILLE — The Danville teachers will not be going on strike Friday, after a tentative contract agreement was reached on Wednesday. The details on the contract are not being disclosed yet.
After several hours of negotiations, the Danville Education Association came to an agreement with the school district. The teachers will vote on the proposed agreement on October 28.
The teachers have been working without a contract since 2012. They went on strike for five days in April of 2014. (Ali Stevens)
