DANVILLE – Geisinger is going to provide air medical services next year for St. Luke’s hospitals of southeastern Pennsylvania. Officials at St. Luke’s University Health Network and Geisinger announced the signing of an air medical collaboration for Life Flight medical services with St. Luke’s beginning in July of 2018.
Geisinger says they’ll be providing the helicopter service for the St. Luke’s system that reaches into Berks and Schuylkill Counties, they say the new services will feature a new state of the art helicopter equipped for use by the 100 member Life Flight team. They say the aircraft will be able to carry up to two patients, a care team and specialized medical instruments.
