SUNBURY- No more ‘Countdown in the Downtown’ on New Year’s Eve in Sunbury. Sunbury Revitalization, Inc. has decided it will not continue its New Year’s Eve celebration. SRI officials say it does not align completely with their mission.
The SRI board has says if the city believes the celebration is beneficial to the community and there’s interest in organizing it, SRI would be happy to allow the city use of event resources. SRI says it will await a decision from the city.
