MONTOURSVILLE – PennDOT is out with some travel restrictions on busy roads around here Monday and Tuesday:
- Monday on Route 54 in Riverside, Route 54 will be partially blocked at the railroad crossing to allow some work there. Starting at 10am, Norfolk Southern will inspect and repair the crossing; they’ll have flaggers on the scene to direct traffic and will have assistance from police and PennDOT employees. A two to four hour project is anticipated.
- On the Route 61/Veterans Memorial Bridge between Shamokin Dam and Sunbury Tuesday, PennDOT will close one of the northbound lanes. PennDOT says from 8am to 2pm, they’ll be doing “survey work” and there will be delays for motorists heading toward Shamokin Dam.
