Snyder County’s Faylor Lake Gets $100,000 Grant

TROXELVILLE – Improvements at Faylor Lake in Snyder County are ongoing, and they are getting a big boost in state grant funding.  The state says $100,000 in funding will be used to assist in the construction of new ADA-compliant parking, new pathways and a new comfort station.

Faylor Lake has been a destination for disc golf and other outdoor activities. With the increase in usage, the facilities around the lake need to be upgraded and expanded to accommodate the additional attendance according to State Senator John Gordner (R-27th, Berwick) who announced the grant this week.
