SUNBURY –Shikellamy’s Superintendent has resigned. The Board of School Directors at Shikellamy School District received a letter of resignation from Patrick Kelley. They made the announcement Friday afternoon.
The resignation is effective immediately. David Sinopoli will serve as acting superintendent until the position is filled. School board president Wendy Wiest said Kelley’s letter will be presented to the school board at the next public meeting for formal approval.
Last year Kelley was suspended without pay for 20 days, following a DUI charge in New York. He was superintendent since 2012. (Codi Jade)
