SUNBURY – Students in the Shikellamy School District could soon see random drug testing. Discussions to implement a potential policy were held at a work session Thursday.
Superintendent Dr. Jason Bendle told WKOK a special committee including board members, staff, and community members has been researching and discussing the topic for the past few months.
Bendle says further discussion will continue at next Thursday’s public school board meeting, but no vote will take place.
