Governor Shapiro to Tour, Deliver Remarks at the PA Farm Show
HARRISBURG — WHTM is reporting… Governor Josh Shapiro kept politics off the table during his annual visit to the state Farm Show, despite it being his first public appearance since announcing his reelection bid. Gov. Shapiro focused on meeting with farmers, shaking hands, and highlighting support for agriculture.
He told reporters there would be plenty of time for politics later, even as others discussed the upcoming race. Former Governor Mark Schweiker acknowledged the challenge facing likely Republican candidate Treasurer Stacy Garrity, citing Shapiro’s incumbency, fundraising strength, and name recognition.
