Shamokin man jailed over stolen gun

police lightsSHAMOKIN — A Shamokin man was sent to prison after police say he stole a gun and traded the gun for a tattoo.  The News Item reports 18-year-old Emmanuel Temple is accused of taking a .357-caliber handgun and trading the gun for a tattoo for himself and a 17-year-old.

 

The gun was taken from a residence on Clark Road in Ralpho Township.  Temple was arraigned on charges of receiving stolen property and unlawful sale of a firearm.  Bail was set at $25,000.  (Ali Stevens)
