SHAMOKIN – One person was injured after a motorcycle accident on Irish Valley Road in Shamokin Township, Northumberland County. State police say 62-year-old George Zanella of Shamokin lost control of his motorcycle Sunday around 3 p.m.
The motorcycle slid on its side and struck another vehicle driven by 59-year-old David Friedman of Mount Carmel. Zanella was transported by ambulance to Geisinger Medical Center, where he is listed in fair condition. Friedman was not injured. (Ali Stevens)
