SHAMOKIN DAM — Volunteers from the Shamokin Dam fire department responded to a natural gas leak this morning. The gas leak occurred on Center Street where a work crew was digging, they inadvertently hit the gas line. Central Susquehanna Regional 9-1-1 tells us the alarm came in about 9am and there was a limited evacuation in that area. The fire department and UGI are on the scene.
