SUNBURY – The National Weather Service was busy with alerts for The Valley Monday afternoon. A Tornado Watch was issued for several hours Monday afternoon and evening for Snyder, Union and Northumberland Counties. The watches were cancelled for all counties by 7:30p.m.
A Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Snyder and Northumberland Counties expired at 5:30p.m.
A Tornado Warning was issued for southeastern Northumberland County and south central Columbia County until 4:30p.m. That warning has since expired. Residents of Northumberland County have reported strong winds and hail this afternoon. (Codi Jade)
