MIDDLEBURG – State police have released details about a Saturday crash that injured five people in Snyder County. Troopers say 18-year-old Sarah Nolt of Winfield was traveling on Route 104 at a high rate of speed and crossed into the southbound lane to avoid a stopped vehicle waiting to turn left onto Middle Road.
Nolt struck an oncoming vehicle head-on, driven by 60-year-old Bonnie Lauver of Mount Pleasant Mills. Nolt and Lauver both sustained minor injuries in the accident along with three passengers in the Nolt vehicle. Nolt was cited for reckless driving.
