MOUNT CARMEL – A three-alarm fire has damaged several homes in Mount Carmel. The fire started around 8:20 a.m. and quickly went to three alarms. The fire started at 242 South Beech Street and then spread to several neighboring homes, which were also damaged.
Neighbors were witnessed getting everyone out of the homes safely, with no injuries reported. It is not clear how the fire started. It took over an hour to put out the fires and multiple crews were still on the scene at 11:30 a.m. investigating. Several families have been displaced by the fires in Mount Carmel. (Ali Stevens)
