Hit and run involving horse and buggy near Montgomery
MONTGOMERY – Seven people on a horse and buggy were hurt and two had to be taken to the hospital after a hit and run incident in Lycoming County Sunday night. Lycoming County Communications tells WKOK the accident occurred just before 9:30 p.m. on Route 54 in the Montgomery area.
Montoursville state police tell us, five children ranging between five and 13 years-old were in the buggy, along with two adults. There are reports a pick-up truck hit the horse and buggy and word that a possible driver of the truck has been contacted. No arrests have been made and no further details out yet. (Matt Catrillo)
