Selinsgrove coach to be promoted to ‘head coach’
SELINSGROVE — The Selinsgrove Area School District has chosen–but not yet officially hired–a new head football coach. According to the agenda for Monday’s Selinsgrove school board meeting, there will be a vote to confirm Derek Hicks as the new coach at the school.
Hicks is a science teacher in the Selinsgrove Middle School. He has been involved in the Seals football program for nearly 20 years and is currently a defensive coordinator. He is a 1993 Selinsgrove graduate. He played for the Seals football team while in high school. (Codi Jade)
